Krabi

We spent 3 nights in Krabi. Very nice beach town. We took. Long tail boat on a 4 island tour and did some snorkeling. Many good restaurant.

Bangkok

Our tour ended in Bangkok. We took a few days for sight seeing. The palace was amazing and beautiful. The king is 84 and now lives in the hospital for health reasons.

Pattaya

We went to Pattya to visit Josh and Tara Gaines and their darling baby,Beck. They are teaching in a British school. We stayed at their home and had fun seeing their town and favorite restaurants!

Last dinner

Our guide, Peap,and family made a huge dinner for us.The borrowed chairs as they usually sit on the floor.We met his wife,baby,sister in law, grandmother in law(94), niece and nephew.

On our own now

It is with some sadness that we say goodbye to our travel family. We have been very close in our thirty days together. We all say we will get together again ( maybe in Dubai). Hope it happens!

Angkor Wat

They definitely saved the best for last. Truly amazing to see. Very well preserved and on going restoration

Angkor Wat & Angkor Thom

Amazing temples. Each new king would build him a new temple or about every 10 to 15 years one was built in the 12th century

Siem Reap

There are several Wats or Buddist temples in the area. This area severed as the 2nd capital for the kingdom beginning in the 12th century. Siem Reap means Thais defeated. There r over 2.5 million visitors per year . The many wats are amazing. U could easily spent a week or more going through them.
